Ottoman divan bases allow you to maximise storage space without the restriction of drawer size. Items such as quilts that are too big for drawers can be stored in ottoman bases. Our bases come with two opening options, side opening or end opening. You can also choose if you want the side opening to lift from the right hand side or left hand side of the bed. Supported by a gas lift mechanism, it's easy to lift the ottoman to allow you access to the storage space.
Manufactured in the UK, our ottoman beds feature non-slip fabric which holds the mattress in place when you lift the bed. The weight limit within the storage is a generous 60kg. You can fill the base with clothes and texiles without putting too much strain on the base. The bed is supplied with chrome glide feet which aid stability and bring a fabulous modern finish to the bed.
Available in eight colours, we will call you after you order to confirm the colour selection and to give you an indication of the delivery date, normally within ten working days. Scroll through the photos to have a look at our colour selection. The bed will be hand made for you, we will further call you to arrange delivery when the bed is complete. When we bring the bed, we will take it to the room of your choice and we will build the bed for you, and take away the wrappings. You don't have to do anything, leave it to us. Zero Gravity pressure relieving mattresses have been developed to produce comfortable and durable mattresses.
The key feature of Zero Gravity is that it is pressure relieving. As we lie in the same position while we sleep on a conventional mattress, we develop pressure points which become uncomfortable, so we move position numerous times during then night to find a more comfortable sleeping position. Zero Gravity is specifically designed to substantially reduce these uncomfortable pressure points by dispersing the pressure over a much wider surface area.

Most people use double beds. The difference in width between a double bed and a king size bed is six inches, or fifteen centimetres. King size beds are also three inches longer, or 7.5 centimetres. Tne difference in cost between a double and king size bed is minimal, the difference in quality of sleep can be amazing. So if you have a partner that tosses and turns a lot during the night, consider upgrading to a king size bed.
