We saw the early rush to slat-style bed frames and winced as we knew that the bed frames would often collapse. Rather than annoy our customers with a product that we knew could cause problems we developed the strong flatboard base for our beds. These beds are easily constructed and when built, you lay the fabric-covered flatboard across the top. You won't have to worry about slats breaking or collapsing, it can't happen with this bed. One additional feature is that you can store things below the flatboard, they can be picked up.
